China is recognized as one of the World’s largest industrial manufacturing bases with the number of factories and opportunities expanding rapidly year on year.
Local enterprises have also expanded their business volume by stepping up to satisfy the international market.
The expectations and awareness of China’s International business partners in relation to Business Social Responsibility is a challenge to all China enterprises servicing international markets, which they must recognize and reconcile.
In meeting this challenge we also need to consider the increasing volume of comments from Local Society, an increasing level of enforcement from Local Governments, a shortage of Labor and in many instance Power, all of which create greater pressure on China based enterprises in their efforts to continually improve their Social Responsibility performance in a harmonious and healthy manner.
SGS audits and monitors different Socially Responsible programs worldwide and will share its experiences in the setting up of such a Social Responsibility Management System with attendees during this seminar.
